The day to day…
- Work closely with the Digital, Trading and Marketing Teams in order to develop first-class emails which communicate key messages to the right audience at the right time.
- Brief the design team to create engaging customer emails
- Set up, build, review and proof email campaigns
- Use segmentation techniques to select audiences
- Develop a plan and carry out multi-variant testing
- Analyse results from email marketing campaigns to improve key performance metrics (deliverability, open rate, click through rate, sales).
- Carry out competitor reviews to establish best in class email design and strategy
- Managing automated/trigger email campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle to maximise sales
- Analysing and reporting on the success of direct/email marketing campaigns
- Responsible for the management of the email database and checking the quality and health of the email addresses.
- Key contact with Email platform provider
- HTML/CSS experience
- Good understanding of email marketing & email marketing software
- Experience of working in a commercial environment
- Must be a self-starter that can work to deadlines
- Be an excellent communicator
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills
- Must enjoy the challenge of working in a fast paced, pressurised environment
- Must be flexible in approach to work
