Our client is developing and growing rapidly organically and through acquisition. It is an exciting time to join this well known brand. The role of Marketing Executive, is to support the marketing activity for the business-to-business sectors. The Marketing Executive will deliver a variety of marketing activity whilst working with key stakeholders, clients and third parties. The day-to-day activity of the role will be across multiple marketing channels, operating at pace and delivering high quality creative to help achieve the business objectives.
Overview:
- Own key marketing channels and deliver activity as part of the overall marketing plan - channels include Social Media, Events, Literature-development and Press Advertising.
- Support the Marketing Manager in the creation of best-in-class business-to-business marketing strategy to deliver awareness of the brand and purchase intent of potential clients.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders including the wider marketing team (the Digital and Business Development teams in particular),
- Build relationships with relevant external organisations including key commercial partners
- Manage day-to-day activity with agency partners ensuring we get value for money and real value-add agency expertise.
- Ensure that marketing activity is measurable from a response and return on investment (ROI) perspective and adopt a ‘test and learn’ approach to all channels.
- Be the ‘voice of client’ and demonstrate real client-awareness that is reflected in marketing activity.
- Advocate marketing and the role that it plays in meeting commercial objectives across the business
- Maintain high levels of enthusiasm and belief in the value that marketing activity can add
Ideally, we are looking for:-
- Ideally at least two years’ experience in a hands-on marketing role for a client-facing organisation.
- Ideally educated to Marketing Diploma and/or Degree level.
- A proven track record of managing activity in a variety of marketing channels including Social Media, Events, Literature-development and Direct Marketing.
- An ability to multi-task and manage multiple pieces of activity and projects concurrently.
- Being able to show attention to detail in the delivery of work both in terms of creative but also in developing copy and proof-reading content.
- A passion for delivering truly client-centric activity.
- A proven ability to build relationships and influence a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Being able to work at pace and deliver activity to deadline.
- Being highly energetic and driven, with a focus on delivering effective marketing activity and building a marketing career.
