Overview
The role of the Marketing Manager is to take ownership for specific tasks as defined below.
- Establish positioning, identify target audiences and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments;
- Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration;
- Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis and marketing best practices to build successful strategies;
- Create, maintain and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics.
- Manage presence in social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter), originating and creating content to support our brand positioning.
- Conceptualise and create content in different formats across the prospect and customer lifecycle to support our content strategy, supporting our Sales and Customer Success teams to improve conversion retention;
- Launch and create outbound digital marketing campaigns with our industry partners, and/or within designated industry verticals (e.g. construction, charities etc);
- Ensure the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels;
- Manage updates for customer and internal touch points, establishing budget guidelines
- Gather customer, market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions
- Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis and optimize accordingly;
- Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams and communicate with senior management about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets;
- Co-ordinate and manage events, trade shows and exhibitions, including creating/updating marketing collateral as required.
In addition, as the Marketing Manager you should be:
- 3 years commercial/marketing experience, either with a marketing agency or in-house;
- You are comfortable managing social media accounts, creating and scheduling posting plans;
- You can understand website analytics to make recommendations to improve performance;
- You have created customer communications that improved acquisition, conversion or retention;
- You have worked on and understand set up and manage Paid Search campaigns; (desirable)
- You can create content clips or animations using (e.g.) editing tools, photoshop; (desirable)
