Job Purpose

As Website Specialist you will be responsible for the quality control for website functionality and design includes daily testing to identify and fix any issues related to products, navigation, search functionality and responsiveness across different devices and websites.

The quality of the website and user experience greatly impacts customer satisfaction and conversions. This role is to support the quality control function within the team.

We require an individual with a systematic approach and a high level of attention to detail to join the digital team to assist in the running of the website and design and marketing activity.

 

Principle Accountabilities

  • To ensure effective quality control of all the website across our entire presence and devices
  • Carry out and document daily checks across web pages to ensure all functionality and appearance is accurate and working correctly.
  • Daily product check to ensure trading is supported
  • Take ownership of providing daily updates on the status of all tickets raised
  • Web amends, Ensure that only the highest quality amends, images, products, fixes etc are pushed live onto any channel
  • Proof read /QA product builds and amends by others
  • Ensure that any fixes, updates or amends offer the best user experience and best industry practices and have the ability to challenge when standards are not met.
  • Support the team to carry out any web amends in a timely manner through the WordPress CMS.
  • Ensure accuracy of own amends

 

Skills and Experience:

 

  • Understanding of e-commerce trends, consumer behaviour, and market dynamics and best practices. (preferred)
  • Proficiency in content management systems and e-commerce platforms. (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Creative flair with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and act on data.
  • UX / CX / usability testing experience (preferred)
  • Ticket system knowledge: Jira, freshdesk etc (preferred)
