Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover)

Cheltenham | Office-Based | Salary circa £37,500

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded and hands-on Marketing Manager to join a fast-paced consumer-focused business operating within the leisure, hospitality and visitor attraction sector.

This is a broad and varied role where you’ll take ownership of multi-channel marketing activity across several revenue streams, helping drive customer engagement, brand awareness and commercial growth.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you’ll lead marketing strategy, campaign delivery, digital performance and content planning, while managing a small in-house team alongside external agency partners.

This role would suit someone who thrives in a busy B2C environment and enjoys balancing strategy with hands-on delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across multiple customer channels
• Support business growth through commercially focused sales and marketing activity
• Manage digital marketing performance, user experience and online conversion
• Oversee campaign planning, reporting, budgeting and performance analysis
• Lead content and creative delivery across digital and offline channels
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external agencies
• Identify opportunities to improve customer engagement, revenue and brand visibility
• Monitor market trends, customer insight and campaign effectiveness to inform strategy

About You

• Proven experience within a high-volume B2C marketing environment
• Background in hospitality, leisure, tourism, retail or visitor attractions would be highly advantageous
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, ecommerce and campaign performance
• Commercially aware with the ability to translate strategy into results
• Confident managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
• Experience leading or mentoring marketing team members
• Analytical mindset with strong reporting and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Proactive, creative and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
