- Communications Manager
Our established and industry leading client is looking for a talented Communications Manager. Supporting a business transformation programme, this role will manage the communications of the programme for both internal and external audiences to enable a successful deployment and adoption in the business.
The transformation will be enabled by the delivery of Software as a Service technology solution that will require the business to adopt the business process within the solution and adapt the business process and ways of working.
To develop the communication messages for the impacted parties across both the organization and external third parties.
Overview:-
- Own and manage all the communications for the programme including:
- Develop the communication message in a way that fully engages the business in the understanding what will be different for them
- Plan, edit and write content for various mediums, staff magazine, letters, presentations, posters, social media, podcasts, videos etc
- Working closely with the relevant leads in order to ensure that the messages are engaging, accurate and appropriate
- Designing and assisting in the delivery of communications to external third parties
- Training team members on how to communicate, plain English and review any communications before issue oi ensure consistent messages
- Measure the effectiveness of the communications messages
- Respond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly
- Weekly workstream reporting
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set and experience:
- Previous experience of communications for a major change programme people, process and systems
- Previous experience of ERP rollout would be beneficial or other technology enabled programme
- Excellent writing skills and journalistic ability to source stories from employees
- Familiarity with digital mediums
- Excellent communication and influencing skills allowing you to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to build relationship at all levels
- Strong planning and organisational skills with an ability to deliver effectively at pace to tight timescales
- Excellent active listening skills
- Team player
- Future thinking with a curious and open mind
- High degrees of initiative, accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail
- Able to work at pace and be pragmatic (80:20)
- Good problem solver
