An exciting new role to take day-to-day management of a portfolio of customer accounts.
Through delivery of the highest customer service and communication you will deliver sales focused solutions based on customer needs and market potential, with the aim of meeting and exceeding targets.
Working as part of a collaborative and supportive team, you will have the opportunity to shape your role and opportunities within the business.
Account management experiences within the Wholesale/Retail/eCommerce knowledge, Gifting / Souvenir Marketplace will be of particular interest.
Main responsibilities:
· Working with customers to solve day to day issues and resolve them using our internal team/systems/processes
· Build relationships with customers and sell in new products
· Work with customers to develop opportunities to sell more products
· Consistently review our service levels and raise issues where relevant
· Maximise reorders and find ways to increase them
· Identifying opportunities that will positively impact sales or service levels
· Assessing customer’s needs and providing service solutions.
· Identifying short- and long-term growth opportunities with your customers.
· Creating and presenting proposals to prospective customers
· Keeping up to date with market trend and competitor activity by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc
· Being a day to day point of contact to customers.
· Collecting and communicating customer requirements to all necessary internal departments.
· Keeping management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly, monthly, and annual business analyses.
· Recommending changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
· Being involved with key marketing events like Trade Shows, Buying Group Events etc to agreed budget.
Experiences sought:
· Ability to communicate effectively.
· Great customer service skills demonstrated at all levels.
· Thorough understanding of key KPI’s – sales, margin, budgets, targets, and ability to transfer this knowledge into simple, key actions.
· Confident sales and presentation style.
· Account Management experience within the Wholesale/Retail/eCommerce knowledge, Gifting / Souvenir Marketplace
· Hands on and can-do approach to working in a busy, growing environment.
· Excellent written and reporting skills.
· Full driving license.
