Overview
- Work with client services and project managers to plan and schedule projects, challenging time, commercials and deadlines when appropriate.
- Ensure all resourcing planners and reports are kept fully up to date.
- Have a clear understanding of workflow through the agency and support CS in when we can be more agile.
- Identify agency bottlenecks, suggest solutions in the first instance and be prepared to escalate when needed.
- Work with CS teams to prioritise resource needed for projects.
- Work closely with the resource lead, CPs and commercial to reduce agency freelance costs within the creative department.
- Support the resource lead in working with CPs to scope out a yearly plan to identify potential pinch points within the year.
- Support the resource lead in building a strong portfolio of varying skillsets and develop strong relationships with all freelance.
- Prioritise and juggle resource when fast track/unplanned projects arise.
You need to have..
- Previous resource and/or project management experience in a fast paced agency environment.
- Knowledge of Creative processes as well as Digital process from conception to delivery.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
- The ability to establish a strong relationship with all parts of the agency, from client service/project management through to planning.
- Be super organised, this is a demanding role within the agency, and you need to be one step ahead at all times. Daily changes to best laid plans will happen.
- Be positive, you’ll come across a lot of problems, complaints, issues and pressures. Remain positive and upbeat, try not to take things personally.
- Be solution focussed, it’s too easy to discuss what cannot be done. You will need to gain everyone’s trust by doing everything you can to find a solution.
- Be observant, you will be dealing with pretty much every person in the agency on a daily basis. You will hear everyones gripes and successes. Know how to handle this and raise issues when needed.
