Our client is developing and growing rapidly organically and through acquisition.  It is an exciting time to join this well known brand.  The role of Digital Marketing Executive is responsible for generating new business leads for the business.  We need someone with great ideas and a passion for generating new business via a multitude of marketing channels, including email, affiliates, SEM, paid social, display and channel partnerships.
This role will be responsible for delivering the brand’s cross-channel digital marketing strategy, to drive traffic, leads and sales throughout the buying cycle.
The working culture is a friendly and relaxed one - you won’t find any suits here - but we work hard as we know we’re part of a competitive market. Innovation and growth are a big focus for us over the coming year.  We are remote working currently and plan to return to the office 1 day per week/fortnight.
 
 
Overview:
 
EMAIL:
  • Responsible for the day to day management of email and SMS marketing, including:
    • Creating and optimizing email and SMS campaigns
    • Sourcing and preparing data for upload, for email and SMS campaigns
    • Identifying and driving new email marketing opportunities
    • Reporting
AFFILIATE, REFERRAL AND PROMO SCHEMES:
  • Responsible for the day to day management of our affiliate network
    • Accepting/declining publishers
    • Publisher outreach
    • Approving/declining commission
    • Approving declining transaction queries
    • Commission templates
    • Creatives and copy
    • Publisher management
    • Account management
    • Reporting
  • Responsible for the day to day management of our Referral scheme
    • Onboarding new driving instructors
    • Keeping instructors on the scheme engaged
    • Validating sales and commissions
    • Reporting
    • Identifying and driving recruitment opportunities
    • Identifying and driving ways to optimise the scheme
  • Responsible for identifying and driving promotional discount opportunities, delivering promo campaigns, reporting
SEO AND CRO:
  • Manage website content - content architecture and user journeys, identifying and driving opportunities to optimise for SEO
  • Identify and drive ways to improve conversions from quote to sale
  • Identify and drive suitable backlink opportunities
 
CONTENT MARKETING:
  • Identify and drive opportunities to market existing content or produce new content for acquisition
  • Produce content for digital campaigns – email, SMS, paid search, paid social, display
 
PPC
  • Day to day management of Google paid search, paid social campaigns, identifying opportunities to optimise
 
DATA, ANALYTICS AND REPORTING
  • Cross-channel weekly and monthly reporting
  • Campaign reporting

AD HOC:
  • Being an integral member of the broader marketing team with responsibility / participation in ad hoc projects and initiatives
 
Ideally, we are looking for:- 
 
  • Minimum 2 years in a cross-channel acquisition focussed digital marketing role
  • Experience in Google Analytics
  • Experience using social advertising platforms
  • Experience in SEO – be able to produce web content optimised for search engines
  • Experience in using an email and SMS marketing system such as DotDigital
  • Knowledge of how affiliate schemes work, ideally experience managing affiliate relationships and programmes
  • Experience of Google Ads
  • Experience producing copy for email, digital advertising including display, paid search and paid social
  • Experience in cross-channel digital reporting on KPIs
  • Google Adwords
  • Google Analytics
  • WordPress or similar CMS
  • Facebook ad manager
  • DotDigital or similar email marketing system
  • Experience using an SEO tool like SEMRush is desirable
