Rocking Bee Recruitment is looking for a Marketing & Communications Director. This is a hugely exciting time for my client which is scaling up at pace and looking for an innovative, dynamic and influential marketing and communications leader.
You will report directly to a member of the Board with a view to expand this role and remit over time.
The role is a creative role within a business that is famed for its personality, therefore its crucial that the person presents as a good communicator, able to understand key stakeholder requirements, influences partners and representing our organisation to outsiders.
The role will extend across EMEA over time and its critical that you are aware of market trends and positioning of competitors. This analysis is critical for the marketing strategy.
The success of the role will be measured in 3 key areas across all Geographies –
- Engagement of potential recruits, employees, Alumni
- Engagement and influence of partners driving increased referred opportunities
- Engagement and opportunity generation with new and existing customers
e are looking for a leader who can put in a communications strategy that helps inform new recruits, staff and alumni of the exciting growth and changes within the business. A partner strategy that educates and excite our partner on how we drive growth and a marketing strategy that excites new and existing customers with our transformative solutions and talent.
The Role
- Plan and execute a marketing and comms strategy for the organisation
- Evolve the brand strategy and Personality - regularly communicating with the board
- Set and administer an annual marketing and comms budget
- Development of Employer Branding jointly with the talent director to ensure we stand out
- Create and manage a calendar of internal and external events such as webinars, conferences and thought leadership contributions - education of employees, partners and customers is critical to the role
- Continually review changes to the market, consumer trends and the activities of competitors, adjusting plans as required
- Provide tools and materials to enable the sales team and solution practices to function effectively Establish a portfolio of video content to educate and inspire internal and external audience
- Manage and refine the organisation’s social media presence
- Manage and measure marketing campaign costs/ ROI using tools such as Hubspot
- Report on the effectiveness of internal and external marketing/comms campaigns
- Utilise data for campaigns, interrogating the organisation’s databases and external data
- Identify new business opportunities
- Conduct market research studies
- Negotiate with media agencies, secure agreements on the production of promotional materials
- Adapt and launch the brand in new territories successfully
In addition, as the Marketing & Communications Director you should be:
- Experience of supporting an SME scaling rapidly
- Likely to have experience from tech, digital transformation, cloud or pro serve background
- Demonstrable evidence of successfully influencing a Leadership Team at SMT level
- Out of the box thinking, creativity, not afraid to push the boundaries
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
- Great communication skills and work in a collaborative style
- A proactive nature and not afraid to change the status quo
- Experience of working across different geographical locations
- The ability to take ownership and accountability and evidence your delivery of outstanding outcomes
