This is a strategic Planner role, leading Email and CRM strategies and presentations into a diverse B2C well known client base. Working with client services teams, you will be have a passion for working with data to shape client facing strategies across email and CRM.
You will lead/work on client engagements, specifically helping to develop our client’s knowledge and understanding of available data and providing best practice advice to help meet their marketing challenges through email and CRM.
This is an exciting role which will suit an individual with a data background who wants to develop their expertise in planning strategically with clients across Email and CRM.
Overview
- Develop data strategies, campaign plans and consumer journeys in order to support communication activities.
- Confidently present proposals and analysis projects to senior clients, using storytelling to excite and inspire.
- Ensure all outputs such as marketing strategy, analysis or technology solution satisfy the business requirements.
- Write comprehensive briefs to reflect client requirements.
- Support the account team in identifying and developing opportunities within existing clients for growth.
- Identify projects’ potential issues for client or third parties and propose solution options for agreement with internal teams, senior management (where necessary) and client.
- Provide accurate work assessments to deliver on time to maximise revenue opportunities.
- Select the most appropriate data advice to support the client’s business objectives.
You need to have..
- Sound experience and working knowledge of CRM practises and data planning
- Practical and hands-on experience of planning and analysing multi-channel marketing activity, with a focus on email.
- Sound experience of working with high profile clients (ideally both B2B and B2C,
- Considerable and recent experience of leading large scale multi-channel marketing campaign/ technology/ data management/ BI projects within the Data Marketing industry.
- Communicating – work and communicate well with non-data literate or data literate audiences
- Able to read an audience, balancing delivery between the macro and micro picture, happy to go into the detail but equally comfortable providing a ‘helicopter’ view to get the key points across and generate consensus among a senior audience.
- Able to present in an articulate and engaging way
- Sound analytical understanding and ability to translate analysis into insights, into action.
- Able to sell and influence clients and internal stakeholders using different techniques
- Able to build strong relationships based on mutual trust and respect.
- Have a general understanding of relational databases and single customer view creation.
- Have a detailed knowledge of the range of data sources available in the marketplace and how they can be applied to develop insight, campaign planning and reporting.
- Understand how digital, social and offline data can be integrated into CRM programmes.
